You know what would make a more convincing case that this guy is special in any way? If he could come up with a better eco rap than could be produced by a diligent eighth grader. Is anyone actually inspired by these generalizations and cliches? It reminds me of the same level of lame info imparted by many or the world's scriptures. "Treat each other better, be good to one another, don't be such a dick". (paraphrased a bit) Well Duh! I got that message, let's say, when I was 6 and could grasp reciprocity in my social interactions. What are messiahs doing telling us stuff we learned in grade school? Does Maitreya want to turn some heads? Here is an idea...give us one specific thing we can do to improve our ecological problems. He has the pipeline to God right? So how about an alternative energy source to petroleum that we can pull off cheaply enough so that 3rd world countries can join the party? Or perhaps a specific solution to the problem of water distribution on the planet, that would work. I am so tired of God's messengers delivering Mr. Rogers speeches and then blaming us if we are underwhelmed. One realistic good idea is what we need from you guys. Is that too much to ask? Come on Maitreya and His group, throw us a bone here. Stop the political campaign promises about all the great stuff you will do when we start kissing your ass and give us a reason to.
