If you did that, Ron, you are aware, aren't you, that you were off the program (the TM Program, that is)? Gurus are NOT part of the TM Program. With all due respect to you, you weren't therefore practising the TM Program properly (you may have been doing the TM Technique properly, but not the TM Program). This is the recurrent theme I find with dozens of contributors here on FFL: disillusionment with MMY because of the way that he conducted himself as a guru! Well, he may be a guru and you may have entered into that relationship with him but THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH TM!!!! That was because of some weakness in yourself that you abandoned a path (the TM Program) for one that involved a guru. So, please, don't mix up your guru relationship with something that is totally separate because it confuses readers who then read into your dissatisfaction that it is the TM Program at fault when you weren't even practising it in the first place. > So being under the guidance of my Guru, I am > willing to do the practices as instructed, and not mix anything, which is also an instruction > here. Sometimes I find myself with my TM mantra but it was not intentional, it just > happened- this shows the naturalness of TM meditation. [snip]
