The best course of action for you is to apologise and tell her and this forum that you were wrong and that you stand corrected. You need to let it go...and let it go with a corrective response. Release yourself from the negative action you are responsible for (and, yes, it was serious). If it's any consolation to you, once you've done that you can feel all superior to Judy because apologising and admitting she was wrong on a point is something she's never done.
