I am re-posting this message due to problems with Google Groups (my initial post did not get into Google). And I have more info on the problem too. Apologies if I am over-posting. I am using Win2003, IIS and CF 7. I have installed farcry to a virtual directory (http://domain/farcryDepts) and updated b300 and b301. I have reinstalled 5 times now and the results are the same. Problem 1 is that I can only login to /farcry (admin piece) with my initial browser window on the server. If I try to login from another machine, I get the error. If I open another browser window on the server, I get the error. If I close the original window and open a new one, I get the error and have to reinstall to get back to /farcry. Here is the error: Element MODE.BADMIN is undefined in REQUEST. The error occurred in D:\farcry\farcry_core\admin\Application.cfm: line 82 80 : 81 : 82 : 83 : 84 : Another problem (Problem 2) that I noticed is that when I log in with the initial user (farcry/farcry) some of the menu items are strings, for example: Instead of Cache Management, I get application.adminBundle[session.dmProfile.locale].CacheManagement. If I create another user and login as the new user (with sysadmin rights), I get Cache Managment (problem gone). Not sure if this is related or even a problem, but it is consistent across my re-installs. TIA Marv
