Sounds a lot like you are only scratching the surface ;)

Well the primary building block of FarCry extensibilty is actually the
"content type" -- the "include" is essentially a hack to allow folks to
integrate external code that is not written to comply with the
framework.

I can see I better put together a series of examples for 4.0 to put
this all this across.  I might  set up a public demo of our soon to be
released commercial CRM. Its not quite ready for prime time but I think
it might at least dispel the notion of FarCry just simply being an
extensible CMS.
