Are you aware that there are actually 3 google groups? farcry-user, farcry-dev and farcry-beta farcry-user doesn't see a lot of traffic but is specifically aimed at people who use farcry to manage content. ie. not the people who create plugins and customise sites. farcry-dev is for developers using the released versions of Farcry. farcry-beta is for the nutters out there who like to live life on the bleeding edge. These are all listed at the foot of every page under "Community Forums" on the Farcry website : http://www.farcrycore.org/ If you want a view of the google groups that looks like phpbb try the topic list view : http://groups.google.com/group/farcry-dev/topics?gvc=2 Seems like you see the picture, can you provide for example a page > that uses farcry 5 and blueprint css, just to get started. It's really > difficult to get started if there is no documentation about farcry 5. > > How do you start a basic page with farcry 5 & blueprint css? > > How do you make a plugin? > > How do you create a webskinn? > > How can i create a skeleton myself? > > Where do you start? > The documentation site is good place to start : http://docs.farcrycms.org/ There you will find developer and user documentation for Farcry 3, 4 and 5. If you look under the farcry 4 documentation you will find a link to a 150 page training manual for FC4 that daemon released. Again, this is listed at the bottom of every page on the farcry website under "Documentation WIKI" : http://www.farcrycore.org/ While the underlying technology has changed quite radically from FC3 to FC4 and then onto FC5 the concepts are all pretty much the same, with things like plugins becoming simpler to create and more and more powerful with each iteration. Basically, what I'm saying is, if you can't find information specifically related to FC5, then look in the FC4 documentation. Search the google groups. Many of questions have been asked and answered more than once. If you still can't find the answer, then ask on the groups. To answer Colin's question, I know that there are a few companies that use Farcry in the UK, but I don't think anyone other than Daemon currently offer commerical support for Farcry.
