Thanks - I'd already been in touch with Daemon about whether they knew of UK based support, but the answer was no, although as you say they offered remote training etc. The business case problem is not so much everything being 'open source' as such, but more around the support available to us for an enterprise class replacement. If we are to spend £200k on a project to completely redevelop the site (approx 10,000 pages), and move it into a new CMS system, the project board are going to want some assurances around the CMS we select. One of the things they will want to know, is 'if we run into technical difficulties, how easy will it be to fix them?'. i.e. are there people we can call on - commercially in an emergency - who would be able to sort out any problems that may arise. They probably like the comfort factor of getting someone on- site should the need arise, and support based in Australia is quite a plane journey! How would remote support work? There would probably be other questions such as scalability etc. On that note... are there any big 'showcase' farcry sites listed anywhere?
