So your experience is that even with a vps with max 2 g memory, there still would be a performance problem? At this moment i am planning and searching for the best solution to use farcry to host many different websites, so one core and different projects.
I'm not sure what the best approach is, is it due to shared server performance that farcry runs startup slowly, is it a farcry thing? I know farcry is primarily build for large scale applications, so is it the robust nature that might give problems on somewhat smaller applications = less powerful hosted applications? Locally on my pc farcry loads the first time in about 40 seconds. I personally thought that a vps or maybe even a dedicated server with one farcry core could run 100 applications or so, at least that is what i believe, is that realistic? Thanks, Marco.
