I'm new to Farcry (as are a lot of others recently) and although I can see the power of it, I'm struggling to figure out how to setup the basics. It would be extreamly useful if a customised base website could be made available for download which included things like news items, events, facts, secondary navigation, linked pages and related items etc. This would give us new users something to learn from. I'm sure you guys could knock something up really quickly - how about it?
One of the things we've been toying with is releasing all the code for the http://farcry.daemon.com.au/ website into the public domain. And also using this to form the basis of the demo site -- ie. you could wander around in an exact replica of this site for demo purposes.
We've been really strapped for time -- and the templates for this implementation are much more complex than the standard Aura ones we use now. We'd hope to redo the website in a more Aura'esque way before releasing it.
That said.. how much interest would there be in such a thing??
