I have need for a multiple level dropdown menu and from what I have found i will be basing mine on a tutorial at brainjar. See http://www.brainjar.com/dhtml/menubar/demo3.html for demo and http://www.brainjar.com/dhtml/menubar/ for tutorial. This menu appears to allow for a number of levels an css styling.
I plan to use my code (or Ben/Garys mods) to feed the menu items, and will post when complete, probably starting later today/tomorrow depending on other work commitments.

Also, in response to Gary's code, I have the demo navigation stuff working - thank you, but only by putting the <cfcomponent> tag into the displaypagelanding.cfm not the displaypageStandard.cfm file.
