> Also - I cannot find where a template is applied to a page. When you create/edit a page in the Admin Console (either by right clicking on a nav node and selecting "create" and then "HTML" - for example - or using the overview panel) the first panel to appear has a drop-down for templates related to that type called "Display Method".
These templates are stored in <your app>/webskin/<type>. They have a specific naming convention (displaypage.........cfm for templates that display in a page and displayteaser......cfm for templates that would more be used in custom containers). They also have a specific commenting style (have a look inside one or two) that allow a more meaningful name to appear in the drop-downs. Mostly all of the templates also use two <CFMODULE> calls to include the sites "header" and "footer" (yes, you can have more than one set of header/footer files). These are stored (for consistency) in <your app>/webskin/includes. The TIP I am preparing for tomorrow (called Start Simple) it is actually going to show the absolutely simplest template you can create. It wont be out until later in the evening unless I decide to get up early.
