I think this is the point that I am struggling with (and I think a few others too).... A "full working example" already exists in the FarCry Aura template (as Geoff has stated). It just isn't the type of navigation system you are looking for. Ben's example, in fact, is a "full working example" from my perspective for the type of menu I am using on the left hand side of the AAM site (and I will be looking at replacing my code with the one he produced). I don't need to generate the complete menu tree - I only need to generate the bloodline. Chris's example is a "full working example" if you want the type of menu he demonstrated on his site. This does generate the complete menu tree but in a vertical menu. It also requires a licence for Tree Menu Magic. My hacked version of Chris' example is also a "full working example" (if you rip out the borders I put in for emphasis and use some images for the +/- and tweak a bit of the javascript to replace those images as the state changes). It doesn't require any additional third-party product - but probably isn't as cross-browser compatible or as robust as a third-party product. BUT..... I do know what you are looking for....... you want a single bar menu across the top with multiple menu items from your top level each with (potentially) a drop down underneath that can then have arbitrarily deep popout menu's off those that complete map your FarCry hierarchy. The problem is, none of us that have offered solutions are using that style of menu (and don't have enough time to build one - because the DHTML/CSS is a lot more complicated - not because doing it in FarCry is more difficult). And the implementation variations are huge depending how what cross-browser support is required.
