Thank you Roozpeh for your interesting explanation. I will have to think
about that! There is also another letter form that I think should be added
to the Farsi alphabet: that is a <DANDANEH> with a <HAMZEH ABOVE>. The
Arabic letter <YEH> with a <HAMZEH ABOVE> is not used in Farsi. But <A
DANDANEH WITH HAMZEH ABOVE> is used. This is peculiar to Farsi. It does not
have a final or middle form, but it does have an initial and a middle form.
It is a complete item of the Farsi sound and alphabet, and it should be
identified as an independent character by itself. I don't know if Unicode
recognises this or not. If it does not, then it should be recommended for
recognition, and it should be implemented in the Farsi standard.
