I don't know if it's practical to condemn the use of manuals though.
If the likes of Griffith et al didn't offer FE-1 prep courses, people
would mainly use Craig and de Burca and/or nutshells to prepare, so
the answers would be pretty similar anyway.  We'd have even less time
to read cases too and it would still be a case of regurgitating what
we know and possibly not answering the questions asked.  I don't think
that he can lay the blame at the manual's door.

I'd love to get a question like the one on the Courts in the last
sitting.  The answer is practically all in the Treaties so it would be
sweet.
