its because the ACL of my USB drive does not contain "Ankur" as user

laptop drive:

[an...@ankur ~]$ getfacl /dev/sr0 
getfacl: Removing leading '/' from absolute path names

user:Ankur:rw-
group::rw-

other::---

USB drive:

[an...@ankur ~]$ getfacl /dev/sr1

Dont really think its a bug. Ill confirm with what the man page has to
say before filing one for growisofs

Yeah, I will file bugs (wodim and brasero currently, maybe k3b once I
waste a few dvds on that). I like bugzilla :)
