Maybe if you buy 100 books a day, they might consider it! =p

Date: Wed, 18 Jan 2012 23:52:28 +0000 The UK hmm... Ray any idea's how I can get them to send you to Wales, besides camping outside their office's, I can still see the look of disdain on that Ladies face that accompanied you to the Bristol visit, when I asked her about a Cardiff signing in the future, all credit to you though Ray even you tried which still got the same answer of no, as you've said before you don't sell that many books in Wales :( maybe if I sent 100 emails a day to them begging for a signing in Cardiff, that might work but then they'd only block my email address and have me for harassment... na they'd just block my email address :( can't think what would work, not even you managed to sway them into it, but I did get that cool poster out of it :) Have you ever done a signing in Wales over the years Ray? --Chris-- ----- Original Message ----- From: Raymond E. O No. San Diego is where I live so I do one at Mysterious Galaxy every year because they're a ten minute drive away. It's been a while since I said this, so I'll say it again: I have no control over where I go. I go where my publishers send me. Almost certainly I'll be in the UK and Australia in 2013. I don't know about the US because the economics of publishing and doing tours are different hear, but I'd say it's likely. If you want me to visit where you live, you do it through your local bookseller, if they are the type of store that has authors in for promotion. In Texas I'm almost always in either Austin or Dallas, but it's been maybe ten years?
