It's only the toaster and coffe pot on the counter
because everything else had to go in the cupboard and no more room ... most of
my cupboards are full of cat food and cat meds, etc. Tlherefore keep the
toaster and coffepot covered with towels and every morning I sniff
them ... So many places I cannot clean up all the cat pee, like when it
runs down behind the countertop when they hit the wall, or behind the baseboard,
under the top portion of the washer and dryer ... you know the predictament
:(

Right on, Nina - I have removed everything from the kitchen
counter - I no longer have toasters, or bread box or anything because they
keep peeing on them -
I just feel better knowing that I am not
alone in this, Nina...

Re: OT - 2 things
I neglected to mention that one of Ursula's favorite
spots is the kitchen counter, also only in the middle of the night.
Uugh, the toaster and the stove though, that's much worse! At least
the kitchen counter cleans up easily, not that it makes much difference
when I forget and leave clean dishes out to dry there. There's
nothing like washing wine glasses over and over again! I'm waiting
for the day I don't catch it. I can just see the crinkled up noses
when my guests comment on the interesting bouquet! It does help
knowing why they do these things, at least it helps a little. It's
impossible to cater to them completely, well, I guess not impossible, all
I'd have to do to please Ursula is kick every other cat in the house to
the curb! Nina
