Almost all of my cats are 100% indoors, but I am worried about my ferals as I cannot do much to protect them - he is going to get a pit pull soon to run them away from the yard which I have no problem with.. but the mean time, I am so afraid how many are going to be killed -

I wouldn't mention his name, just tell people to PLEASE keep their cats indoors. There's really nothing you can do other than build a cat fence, and keep all the cats in your yard. There are many different cat safe fence products out there. Keep vitamin K on hand, if your vet will give you a vial (and syringes to inject it, or you can get pills, but they wont work as quickly), and you can treat the poisoned cats.
