Just a bit of info.
We have 14 cats and we have had real good luck using either Arm & Hammer Scoopable Litter or Tidy Cat Scoopable (the original kind). The only time there is odor is if someone doesn't cover. For accidents we use Nature's Miracles. It works wonders as long as you use it first. Don't try to clean and then try it.
We have 4 litter boxes in a walk in closet area (uncovered). One in our utility room, 1 in the bathroom (covered), and one in our bedroom (covered). They are the extra large litter boxes, except for one.  I scoop all boxes in the morning and my husband does it around 4:30 p.m. We add fresh litter as needed. It works quite well actually.

Nina, no cat wandering around that I could see, but there very well could be. But, his piddles are always in the litter box. At first he used the carpet until I switched to clay. Luckily I caught that right away. Now, he’s goes very nicely in the box—which is very large. I always buy those storage totes after I discovered that my Bandit had a tendency to not realize how big he was—piddled off the side a lot before the storage totes were bought. Candles seems to work a little—it’s a least tolerable in here for me to get some work done! Cassidy is now snuggled up on my lap—he’s finally learning not to use his claw on me so much!

By the way, I see that many of you are responding to messages that I don’t see until you’ve all responded! Am I doing something wrong? Is it because I batch my emails? How would one unbatch them?  Melissa
