I thought felv could be transmitted through saliva, like preening, water
bowls (staying wet) or litterboxes.
fiv transmits through deep puncture wounds.
Correct me if I am wrong.

It is extremely difficult to transmit to a healthy adult cat. Main
modes of transmission are deep bite wounds and nursing.
Healthy adult cats have ~85% immunity to the virus.
