Susan: Congratulations on your new home! I hope Lil Mister and Tuffy find
you soon, but that's great that you've been so successful considering the
circumstances. I wish I could help you with the new trees and such! Best of
luck with everything and what amazing landlords you must have!

It had to be rescue friendly. That's why it took a month to find.

Supplies....I'm afraid what we need at this point is stuff that's too big to
ship. The cats really need new cat trees. All three of the ones we had
were so infused with smoke that they were just unusable. I do need to
replace carriers and traps over time. Mine were stored in the basement
where the fire started and I'm working with borrowed ones that really need
to be returned soon. But we're good on litter boxes, bowls, that sort of
thing.

It is such a relief to have everyone moved. I felt so vulnerable in the
little apartment where we had been staying -- ground floor, street front,
two rooms and 20 cats. Nice to have them in a house again.

Hi Susan,

It's great that you've found a rescue friendly place/landlords!!
Maybe Lil Mister & Tuffy are only waiting until you had a new home
to bring them to before they show themselves again
for you to find them>.

Now that you have a place - what do you need in the way of supplies??

area, easy-to-clean teak floors through most of the house and a really cool
bathroom with slate floors and a slate shower. The owners are genuinely
rescue-friendly. The real litmus test was when I asked about relocating the
remaining two ferals (Cutie-Pie and Pumpkin) from the backyard of my old
burned-out place to our new back yard and was told, without hesitation,
"yes, of course, bring them." So, we are home.

service should be transferred in 7 to 10 days. Almost functional again!

ever look pi**ed when I showed up this morning). She's now cooling her heels
in a condo cage in my new backyard. Re-setting traps again tonight at the
old house in hopes of getting Pumpkin.

missing. We've been looking for them night and day, cruising alleys, posting

this without friends supporting us and keeping us sane.
