What has also been nice has been seeing adoptions happen even while we tried to
get resettled. Five of the kittens who were there on the day of the fire were
adopted from their foster home last week (and only 25 or so left in that foster
home, but she's working on it), adults and other kittens have been adopted from
wherever they were staying after the fire, including one FIV+ girl. Now, as
I'm getting a landline and DSL back up and running, I can really focus in on
adoptions and get rolling again.
I really hope Lil Mister and Tuffy show up. I'm sure both have gone
absolutely feral at this point. I keep hoping to find one of them in one of
the traps being set for Pumpkin and Cutie-Pie.

st1\:*{behavior:url(#default#ieooui) } Susan: Congratulations on
your new home! I hope Lil Mister and Tuffy find you soon, but thats great that
youve been so successful considering the circumstances. I wish I could help
you with the new trees and such! Best of luck with everything and what amazing
landlords you must have!

It had to be rescue friendly. That's why it took a month to find.
Supplies....I'm afraid what we need at this point is stuff that's too big
to ship. The cats really need new cat trees. All three of the ones we had
were so infused with smoke that they were just unusable. I do need to replace
carriers and traps over time. Mine were stored in the basement where the fire
started and I'm working with borrowed ones that really need to be returned
soon. But we're good on litter boxes, bowls, that sort of thing.
It is such a relief to have everyone moved. I felt so vulnerable in the
little apartment where we had been staying -- ground floor, street front, two
rooms and 20 cats. Nice to have them in a house again.

Hi Susan,
It's great that you've found a rescue friendly place/landlords!!
Maybe Lil Mister & Tuffy are only waiting until you had a new home
to bring them to before they show themselves again
for you to find them>.
Now that you have a place - what do you need in the way of supplies??
