Are you free feeding the ferals (outside?)? When I consulted with someone about giving it to my colonies (because people feed them kibble and some are getting sick as a result), they said the company recommends specific doses. I don't see why what with the product being amino acids, why it has to be so specific, but maybe they have good reason. You should consult with the company directly if you can't regulate the dose.
