Gloria,

Have you tired
chicken and
rice for a while?
I remember
Muisette
 (one of my
fosters) when I
switched from
kitten to regular
max cat had
diarrhea.

First it was
round worms,
that was the
problem. Then
there was no
worms
 and the vet
said she may
have a sensitive
stomach or
stress. Her
stress was from
going to
adoption and
plus I put her in
the smaller
cage cos she
was the
smallest. So I
gave her
chicken and
rice for a week,
gave her pepto-
bismol 2x for
two days (vet
told me only 2
days) and
switched to
Sensitive
Stomach
Science Diet. I
increased her
wet food. I
started to
sprinkle "Pro-
zyme" into her
food also. It
took about 2
months.

Now I can give
her max
complete, I still
add some SD
but she has
been fine for
over 5 months
now.

I agree about
the antibotics
too. Bamama
has been on
some and no
problem. When
she got her
teeth cleaned
and two pulled
they put her on
some other type
that she never
has been on.
She started to
get diarrhea
and get got
worse and
worse. I
stopped the
medicine and it
was gone.

Also I
mentioned try to
give him
potatoes. That
is suppose to
bind them too.

Charmed has
loose stool and
as soon as I
started the Pro-
zyme. His stool
harden right up.

Hope you find
an answer
soon. I know
how fustrating it
is.

Healing vibes
that Nicky
poops, and Mr
Black Kitty
tightens up.
Boy don't you
wish you get
the two to blend
their problems it
would even out.

Carla

OK Ladies and
Gentlemen -

Great - I have
one constipated
kitty (Nicky) and
one diarrhea
kitty.

This is a Mr.
Black Kitty
problem. Have
given MBK two
doses of Amoxi
-
last night and
this morning.
It's making his
diarrhea
WORSE!
AHGG. Do
you think I
should call the
vet and switch
antibiotics, try
yoghurt or
what?

What's more
his hair looks
WORSE since
going to the vet
to get neutered
and
blood tested.
MBK is
FELV/FIV
positive.
