My vet told me that noone has ever wanted to go this route before,and that is why shed didnât recommend other treatments at first,because she says it is expensive.She also says interferon only comes in shots that are expensive.From what ive seen you can get pills at a reasonable price.I think she needs to check again,or maybe she wants to overcharge me.She also sd it has some bad side effects,which has me concerned.But she did say it would help.
 
I believe she and you are getting IMMUNOREGULIN mixed up with INTERFERON.  Interferon is neither a shot or a pill...it is an oral liquid..... 
 
Immunoregulin is VEY expensive...interferon is not really that bad...
