Hi
Kristen
It's
great that you've given Luci a home--how lucky that she found
you.
You've come to the right place---I would be lost without the wonderful
people on this list who so generously and promptly share their vast knowledge.
I'm going to email you some nutrition info off-list as it's from a book that
was recommended to me when I discovered my 6 foster kits were FeLV---the book
has been my nutrition bible ever since. As Barb says, high quality nutrition
is key, and I'm one of those that adds supplements like Prozyme.
Will be in touch again v
shortly~~Kerry
Regarding these supplements--I had a holistic vet tell me that they
sound great but to start out with SMALL amounts as the full dose all of a sudden
can cause diarrhea. I have never had that problem, and one of the ingredients
(bioplasma) is supposed to be good as a diarrhea preventative, but just to be
safe, start out with just a pinch of the stuff and then ramp up from
there.
I had a feeling Kerry would chime in, or I would have sent you the recipe
myself. ;) It's probably worth it to see if your local library has the
book itself, too.
