Tad, I just wanted to say you are so wonderful to have so many FELV+ kitties. I hope you might be able to answer some questions about how you keep them separated. I have two fosters that are positive and my other six are not. So far they are kept in my bedroom but I would like to build something that they can roam around in without being in contact with the rest of my herd.
What do you do about the diarrhea? One of my positives has had it for almost two weeks. I took her to the vet and after a stool sample analysis they told me nothing was wrong. I am not impressed with the vets out here as it is, but that kind of did it for me. All they suggested was white rice. I am feeding her a teaspoon of pure pumpkin and steamed white rice along with some cooked chicken for now. She seems to be getting a little better but I can't let her out of the bathroom just yet. I would appreciate any recommendations you can offer. I wanted to find a home for the fosters but it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon. I just wish I had more time to spend with them. Trina
