First of all, nice fic. Thank you for writing it. Both Naruto an Hinata seem on
character, or logical in their decisions.
Aldough my knowledge of ninja law is null, and my two brothers (both lawyers)
say they do not have a legal frame of reference to give a proper opinion. I
think it would all go to hell. For the seal to be completely "safe":
* it would have to not only destroy the eyes (we know from canon, that the
uchiha's eyes can be transplanted, with good results.)
*but also to neuter the afected or modify their genetic code in such a way that
they would be unable to pass on the blood line ability (canon indicates the
contrary, as neji's father is able to sire a son with the white eyes, while
having the seal himself)
I am a person of a fairly rich country with a stable normal job. My morals and
logic are not acurate upon a magic/chi ninja/pirate rich enviroment. But I
think the system does not work. If I married a girl and her familly sudenly
came over to neuter me, her or steal away or maim my sons, in the name of
tradition. I would die before I let them.
(Also a part of me wants Hinata to succeed. She is shy and good. And I kind of
empathice with her.)

Nobody ever said it would. You're inventing arguments to counter an argument
you have no actual counter for, and which do not even counter the argument
you're trying to counter.
