To Paolo: You could begin with placing a link to the sources on this page, where a compressed binary containing code from libavcodec can be found: http://www.kandalu.net/trial/index-klitevideo.html Please note that after having spent an abysmal amount of time with this issue (and being your free juridical advisor), the next time I will have a look at this issue will not be before June 7th, so I recommend you use the time to actually fix something instead of inventing new ways (or programs) to breach the (L)GPL every week. To everybody else: After discussing the (L)GPL for more than a month, a new application was placed on Kandalu's website, having exactly the same issue(s) as the two older applications originally had. I also recommend reading the interesting marketing-speech on the mentioned page - note that a comparison is made between "H-264" (sic), "X264" and "Kandalu compression" which actually is libavcodec-driven x264 in a GPL'd wrapper. ____________________________________________________ FFmpeg issue tracker <[email protected]> <https://roundup.ffmpeg.org/roundup/ffmpeg/issue455> ____________________________________________________
