I do it by cycling repeatedly through the washer and dryer. I've learned the hard way not to wash the item with things that have a lot of lint--all that lint will be attached to the fulled item! Doesn't impair it's function but sure doesn't look very good. In the washer, if possible, set for hot wash and cold rinse to provide as much contrast as possible. I set the dryer for the hottest setting and use the timer rather than the moisture sensor.
