My sister is getting gloves in purple, yellow, and orange alpaca (alpaca is my favorite for gloves). Presently almost to the fingers on the first glove.

My brother-in-law and 1-yr-old son are getting matching socks. (1 inch on the big ones knit so far) (Over thanksgiving, when I saw them all, I also whipped up a scarf, hat, and mittens for the kiddo. It's useful that they are so small.)

My father is getting a tie knit in linen stitch with Koigu yarn. Turns out pretty elegant (and he's into ties). (presently 20 inches long) Some day I may try a handspun version.

My mother-out-law/m-i-l-to-be is getting crocheted water-bottle carriers. (Actually finished!!!) I gave her one several years ago, and she uses it to keep her portable phone on her at all times (she has ms so can't run quickly to answer a non-portable phone). She's requested new ones. One is silk with a flower for dressier days, one handspun cotton in variegated turquoise/blue for everyday use.

My father's girlfriend is getting a woven scarf in shades of maroon and rust (on the loom, half-woven)

My SO may get a sweater I started last summer for me but which he loved. Depends on whether I can get it finished or when.

This is all together too much making (I have boxes to pack (SO finally joining me in NYC, must put away some wool so there's room for him), papers to grade, and all kinds of things to do), but I just can't help myself.
