Hi, all :) I haven't finished the coat yet, but have put up a page about it on my website. I took the coat-in-progress to my local spinning guild yesterday, and didn't get any better ideas than what I had come up with already. The problem is two cut edges being sewn together in a butted seam. The book I used gave no suggestions. I guess I'll hemstitch the cut edges, then use the baseball stitch on top of it, although that seems untidy to me. Should be pretty strong at least, which is what really counts after all!
