Thank Johana !! i feel stupid for faling stupidly , but my knitting is always there ,,, sometimesxi feel i should write a book about people`s reactions to my knitting ,,,, like ,,, when i was on way to lecture somewhere , got on an early Bus, same station a woman who got on bus after me there,the only free place was next to me, [ps i knit on circulars no annoyance to neighbours] looks at me and Says loudly to another lady , ; Would you mind excahnging with me I am not sitting next to Old [I am 60 with wonderful paper /salt hair] knitting plain woman. The lady asked happily changed places , sat next to me pulled out a hoop with embroidery , and says to the Loud speaking woman ; If you only knew how many surgeons , like me practice with handwork?" Wow the woman was red , but went into elaborate explanation why knitters were a bit `Simple`,,,, we left bus at the same station , took same other bus ,,,, i had a feeling ,,,,, we came to the lecture place ,,,,, people collected ,,, doors closed ,, the speaker started and than invited the Guest of Honor a Fiberartist, an adviser to the superviser, who intiated `our new enhanced wider courses',,,, mirjam B ..c... i went on stage , with my knitting in hand ,,,,thanked the welcome ,,, saw the Blushing woman wanting to shrink ....and spoke about creativit, and includedca part about knitting as sometimes the only possible out let for creativity...... mirjam
