I'd like to know how soft Jamieson yarns are--I know, that's a matter of perception and sensitivity :) But I figure if most people say they're fairly soft, then it would work for the shrug. I'm not much worried about the gloves.

Some friends of mine here in NZ got a kit sent out from Jamiesons and they thought the yarn was quite hardwearing feel to it but what you think is soft maybe not soft to someone else.......is it possible to buy one hank so you can get a feel of it before you shop for more. I never really think that itsy bitsy samples are really a good test myself
