This is one the things I most like about the magazines where ever they are 
from is the Authors who I now feel I often *know* from having this online 
connection. I quite often boast to non-online members "oh I know her" :-) 
they say "how" and I just smile mostly........

Well, I can tell you about a few (my own, only - so it looks like I'm
really blowing my own horn too much):
"Spinning for a Lazy Kate" (with pattern for a 16th century style cap)

The cap is still around, being used, has worn very well.
