He's in tech support, not retail. But, I still love the employee
discounts. They're not just for Apple/Mac products, but other
companies offer discounts for Apple employees too. (My new printer
arrived yesterday! So, now, I can finally print out the animal bio
pages to update the farm binder.) Every now and then, rewards are
offered, such as a new iBook, or an iPod. Last year, Steve Jobs (Apple
head honcho) was so pleased that Apple ranked #1 for support services
over other companies, that all employees were given an iPod Shuffle.
Love those perks.
Bobbie, if you think water on the keyboard was bad... Last week, he
brought home his ergonomic keyboard because he spilled a full glass of
root beer in it. He literally disassembled the whole keyboard, cleaned
it out with Q-tips (is this internationally recognized?), and
re-lubricated (with Vaseline) all of the keys. It worked!
And, another fiber related response: have you seen the alpaca teddy
bears? You've got to feel how soft they are!!
