Ok.. I'm computer illiterate enough to be confused by this whole thing...

1. I've *never* been able to put the "degree" symbol up.. I don't have a numeric keyboard (laptop without) and it's functionally impossible with my arthritis in hands to reach all the various alt.... keys to get to it (if it would work even then..)

2. I'm even MORE confused by the fact that the "degree" symbol is coming through on the titles of messages just fine, but it's NOT coming through on message bodies <????> HUH? what is that? It sounds fairly obvious (??) that the computer and the mail program must both support the symbol <Ron's Swedish symbols don't come through either but then I've got some other symbols that even my browser doesn't support (in English, for goodness sakes). I'm on an XP system using Eudora (if anyone cares..).

Thanks to all of you that are tracking this program. It's always been somewhat of a pain and I'm dye <ggg) -ing to figger it out since it's one of those things that I use at least semi-frequently....
