I've heard a lot of folks recommend Dawn dishwashing liquid as the soap for
washing fleece. Strangely though, it's not in my grocery store. It might be
a Canada/US thing - like Smarties. :)
So, in the absence of Dawn, what else would you recommend?
I suspect the relevant point is using dishwashing liquid (NOT dishWASHER
detergent) as opposed to laundry detergent which often has optical
brighteners and/or bleaches added to it.
Many of the laundry additives are rather harsh on wool. But there are
laundry detergents that are additive-free; you just have to look
carefully at the ingredients list <g>.
