Gwen, one kinda fun idea I had for my spinner friends is having "foster sheep", ie, they buy their sheep and get it to me, and I'll raise it for them (I think I'd want some $ for worming meds/vet bills/etc.). Then at shearing time, they kick in on getting a good shearer in, and take home their fleece. I always thought it would be a blast to have a sheep on some farm somewhere to visit!
