My spinning group choose to do a 'friendship' felted knitting project
this year. Each of us is to knit and felt a piece of knitting, which
will then be cut up and shared around to be pieced together like a crazy
quilt into the project of our individual choices.
I did mine as a tube, so much faster to knit that way. But after
felting, the two ends are super wavy, while the middle is much tighter.
Small pieces probably wouldn't show the waving, but it's pretty
pronouced and would prevent using larger pieces.
What went wrong? I'm wondering if I should start over again.
