Holly,
I read your two posts and certainly agree that even with 20 years of weaving, there is always something to be learned. I cannot help with your specific Schacht questions, but on my looms, I often make changes, make new things to put on and will often have to come up with a solution in a hurry. Such as the time I did not put the warp over the top of the back beam and had to find a dowel to lift it all up to the back beam. That was a long time ago, about 20 years, but I find I can still make new mistakes. I have a back release on two of my looms, but never use them, getting up every time to release warp and then walking back to the bench, weaving, get up, go back. I think it keeps me limber and allows me to weave for a longer period of time, or I may be fooling myself.

I would probably like a trapeze, but put on about 12 yard warps as my longest ones. Does it help with shorter warps as well?
Congratulations on your long project/s.
Tricia
