I certainly am hooked on using a trapeze :) A warp that is weighted is
one that can't tangle (and I never ever needed a comb when using the
trapeze until the one that didn't have enough choke ties). I use the
trapeze even on 3.5 yard warps (smallest my mill will conveniently do).
I was able to beam the 21.5 yard warps in about 4 hours, using the trapeze.
And a trapeze doesn't have to be the huge contraption built onto a loom.
Mine is just a dowel hanging from the ceiling. I lower it for use,
raise it to keep it out of the way afterwards. Couldn't be simpler, or
cheaper, or easier to use :)
