I think I will retain the Spin-Off, but relinquish the Handwoven. May
get VAV and will check on Wild Fibers from my guild. I had seen it and
it was heavy on the animal end, which I don't have, but there were other
tidbits in there.
My daughter and I have been weaving on a transparency project, cleaning
the studio, combing alpaca, washing alpaca, knitting. Then taking time
off to cross country ski in lovely sunny weather with all the sparkly
fairies in the snow.
Last year ( I can say that now) was a very hectic year, with some very
low spots and lovely high points which involved a trip to China,
visiting family and discovering some very good friends. This year, I
hope to travel less and weave, spin, felt more. First to finish the tea
towels which have languished for several months. My favourite piece last
year was a shadow weave project which I hope to do this month.
Different but similar.
