Thanks, Marcy :) No, I didn't heat the combs, will try that next time.
That was the *one* thing I left out, not thinking it would make much
difference when combing just-oiled wool :) I didn't realize Peter Teal
was still around--can you think of anything else he taught that might help?
I don't think I ever said my wool was dripping with oil. It wasn't the
oil that was 'dripping', but the wool itself--it would cling to itself
and try to pull out a mini top as I pulled the comb away with each pass.
