what type of oil do you recommend for oiling a machine.  I have a joy Ashford, 
bought used, (but only twice) and it is starting to sound like it needs 
oiling.... also where would i oil it?

  Yes! The Woolee Winder needs a drop of oil near the spring mechanism 
  every 10 hours of use (or so.) Or, after a long hiatus of non-use.

  This instruction should have accompanied the Woolee Winder. Do not 
  hesitate to lubricate--but only one drop.
