I see no reason why we cannot deposit thru our bank account. Other foundation and institutions asking for help and donations are freely giving their bank account numbers over the TV screens, newspapers, flyers and even letters to concerned individuals. The only restriction is that the amount should not be more than 40,000 ??? Is this right. But if they are in the ranges of hundreds, and say 6,000+, perhaps there would be no problem. All we do is get a deposit slip fill up the form, account number, the date, write the names of account holders, the amount and name of depositor. Maybe, we should not wait for the amount to be that big to be deposited. Every week, we can remit what we have collected.
Anyhow, we will take this up with the board. To deposit is easier but withdrawal is harder. Let's see how this works for us.
