No, I don't think Engraver is close to the Peter's style. At least in the scores I have (but they are later than 1890), Peters use sans-serif piano dynamics and noteheads that almost look like circles, and the Engraver font use the quite opposite approach. Perhaps the Sonata font (or even Maestro) is a closer match for the noteheads. What you can do if you want a 100% accurate font, is to scan the symbols from the score and use a font program that can convert scanned bitmaps into glyphs (and create a custom font).
