I think the susato font originally was designed to resemble Peters, but
I don't know for sure. You could have a starting point visiting
http://www.klemm-music.de/coda/fonts.htm where there are some pdf files
of different fonts (Codas fonts and November, Sonata and Susato).

It's not, and I don't think there really is a helpful answer. What you
could try to do is make a mixture of Engraver and Maestro fonts (you can
choose individual fonts for most items in Finale). This may come pretty
close.

Other than that you will have to design your own font (or have it
designed) by copying as closely as possible the Peters fonts. If this is
work you do for Peters I would ask them if they have actual design
sheets for their symbols - perhaps they will be happy to provide you
with some material.

If anything comes out of this that can be used without infringing
copyright I am sure many on this list would like to know about it.

You may find my Finale Tutorial page helpful (although the model in this
case was not Peters) in respect ot fine tuning certain things in Finale.
