Dear Finale listers:
Since the rules of this list permit off-topic posts, I hereby turn to its members for
help. TIA

I've been a registered user of Vision sequencing software for Macintosh since 1990.
Later, around the time their makers,Opcode, went out of business, I bought Studio
Vision Pro ($99.00) through downloading the software from their Internet site (the
site and the offer are still online at http://www.opcode.com/HowToGetSW.shtml ). The
method is this: the user downloads the software, which works for thirty days. After
that you need to answer a challenge code. After I paid, they sent me the response
code. All was fine until one day, out of the blue, as I launched SVP, I got this
message: "This demonstration of Studio Vision will expire in 30 days [...]" with
buttons "Authorize", "Quit" and "Continue". So I got my response code ready and
clicked "Authorize". To my surprise, the challenge code had changed! I wrote an email
to [EMAIL PROTECTED] reporting the situation and informing the new code. In three
d)ays I got the new response code. Fine. SVP worked fine for a while. Now it
hapened again (I think its because I got a new HD. My "demonstration" version of
Studio Vision will expire in 13 days! I wrote two messages already to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] but got no answer in two weeks. There is a support page at their
site, where you can fill out a form explaining the problem, but you need to inform the
product's serial number, which, in this case, is non-existing. Any suggestion will be
very much appreciated.

Thank you.
