I picked up an Apple LaserWriter Select 360 for $25 at a thrift store, to use w. my old PowerMac running system 8.0. I have the right driver and PDF for it, but I can't get the Chooser to see the printer.
Whoever previously owned the thing had it connected via the serial port, but I unplugged that and replaced it with a cable from the computer's printer port to the printer's local-talk port.
